Counselling Session

A Space To Heal & Flourish

Perhaps you have been holding everything together on the outside, but unravelling on the inside.Or, you have been feeling stuck, numb, or lost in a life that “should” be fine.Maybe you have been carrying grief, worry, or burnout that no one really sees.Have you been trying to be there for everyone else and quietly running out of yourself? If any of that feels close to home, you’re not alone. You deserve a place where you don’t have to minimise, fix, or explain it all away.

About Me

How I work

I’m Hannah, a counselling student currently completing my Master of Counselling with Monash University. I offer low‑cost sessions as part of my training, with regular professional supervision.Over the years, I’ve come to see that people are complex, and so is healing. I draw from a range of counselling approaches—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion‑Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—but I never assume one method will fit everyone. Instead, we’ll pay attention together to what actually feels helpful for you. What I can provide you:• A calm, non‑judgemental space where you can bring the real story• Someone who listens carefully and takes you seriously• Time to untangle your thoughts and emotions at your own pace• Support in finding small, doable next steps that actually fit your lifeI don’t believe there is one method that works for everyone. Together, we’ll pay attention to your context, history, culture, values, and hopes. We’ll stay curious about what has happened, what still hurts, and what might be possible from here.

About me

My Background

For nearly a decade, I’ve worked on the frontlines with young people in Hong Kong from many different background - students who are thriving on paper but quietly struggling inside, as well as those who feel they’ve already fallen behind. I have co‑created and led programmes that support their wellbeing, sense of purpose, and capacity to navigate a fast‑changing world. Before training as a counsellor, I studied Industrial Design and worked in design and entrepreneurship education. That experience still shapes how I see people and problems meaning that I’m interested in how things are designed around you (school, work, family, culture), not just in what’s “wrong” with you. Through Positive Psychology, entrepreneurship education, and now counselling, I offer a blend of perspectives that looks at both the systems you’re in and the inner world you carry.Living in China, Hong Kong, and the US has also given me a lived sense of what it’s like to sit between cultures, expectations, and identities. If you feel like you don’t fully belong in any one box, there is room for that here too.
